CHOP announces launch of new Cardiovascular Institute

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute announced it launched the CHOP Cardiovascular Institute, which is to be led by Daniel P. Kelly, MD, director of the University of Pennsylvania Cardiovascular Institute.
The CHOP Cardiovascular Institute will develop novel research programs partner with existing programs at Penn CVI to improve pediatric cardiovascular care, according to a press release.
“It is a privilege to lead this new institute, which will bring together top researchers from Penn and CHOP to solve some of pediatric cardiology’s greatest challenges,”
