In partnership with Plastic Bank, a social enterprise that creates ethical recycling ecosystems in vulnerable coastal communities, the program has prevented the equivalent of 28 million plastic bottles from entering oceans and has helped 171 communities secure necessities, such as clean water and school tuition, in exchange for ocean-bound plastics.
