LimaCorporate announced it received FDA approval for its shoulder platform with a fully 3D-printed glenoid baseplate and humeral stem for reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
Aimed at improving operating room efficiency, the system (PRIMA) consists of a novel 3D-printed convertible short stem and a fully 3D-printed glenoid replacement, and is intended to provide strong primary fixation and proven secondary bone ingrowth, according to a company press release.
