Felix H. ‘Buddy’ Savoie III, MD, FAAOS, appointed president of AAOS

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has announced Felix H. “Buddy” Savoie III, MD, FAAOS, as its 90th president, according to a press release.
Savoie is the chair of the department of orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation, the chief of the division of sports medicine and the Ray J. Haddad Professor of Orthopaedics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He will serve a 1-year term as president of the AAOS.
