Mark Miller, MD, appointed president of AOSSM

The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine has announced Mark Miller, MD, as its newest president, according to a press release.
Miller is the S. Ward Casscells Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and the division head of sports medicine at the University of Virginia. He attended the Air Force Academy prior to earning his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and completed his fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder
