Most currently available pregnancy smartphone apps lack evidence-based information or expert involvement, offer problematic features and inadequate advice, according to a review published in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth.
“This work contributes to the existing body of knowledge by being the first to cover and review the majority of pregnancy apps in practical use based on objective criteria, providing a comprehensive list of pregnancy app features for future medical analysis and discussion, analyzing scientific rationales and employed commercialization and monetization techniques and
