American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy presented awards to three leaders in the fields.
Society representatives presented the awards during the ASTCT Tandem Meetings | Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Meetings of ASTCT and CIBMTR, held April 23-26 in Salt Lake City.
Effie Petersdorf, MD, received the ASTCT Lifetime Achievement Award.
Petersdorf is professor in the clinical research division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, as well as professor of medicine in the medical oncology division at University of Washington School of Medicine.
