
Many children and adults outgrow their food allergies, recent data show.
For example, researchers found that 8.2% of children and 14.7% of adults developed a tolerance to peanut allergy, and 25.6% of children and 23.4% of adults developed a tolerance to milk. Researchers further found an association between earlier onset of allergy and a greater chance for developing tolerance to most food allergies. It was the top story in allergy/asthma last week.
