Bairey Merz, who is also the director of the Preventive Cardiac Center, the Linda Joy Pollin Women’s Heart Health Program, the Erika J. Glazer Women’s Heart Research Initiative and a professor of medicine at Cedars-Sinai, discussed sex- and gender-based differences with heart disease in a presentation at the ACP Internal Medicine Meeting.
